HomeRoom runs in your browser with no student accounts, so students never sign in. Any student names or rosters you enter are stored in your browser and backed up to encrypted servers in Canada. Many teachers use it on their own, but you are responsible for following your district's privacy policy, so check with your school if you are unsure.
